These are the questions couples often ask me about my style, approach, and how I help them feel relaxed and confident on their wedding day.
What is your wedding photography style?
How long have you been shooting weddings?
Do you do formal / group photos on the day?
How long does it take to receive our images?
Is it worth doing a prewedding photoshoot?
How far will you travel?
What’s included when we book you?
What’s the benefit of having a second shooter?
How many images are included with my package?
Do we need to feed you?
How do you edit your photos?
Can we create a bespoke package?
Do you have insurance or backup equipment?
Have you shot weddings at our venue before?
What if the weather is bad?
What if we’re camera shy?
Do you have a backup plan if you’re sick?
How far in advance should we book our wedding photographer?
How many hours of coverage should we choose?
Can we give you a photo list of shots we want?
Do you offer albums, prints, or keepsakes?
Do you have a question?
I specialise in natural, timeless wedding photography that blends documentary storytelling with gentle editorial guidance. I capture real moments as they happen, while helping you feel relaxed and confident in front of the camera.
With over a decade of professional photography experience, I bring a diverse and creative background to my work. Every opportunity to capture couples in love is a joy, and I look forward to each new experience.
Yes - During your pre-wedding consultation, I will discuss your group photos list with you in detail and how to best approach this aspect of the day. I recommend a maximum of 5-10 group photos so they don't take up too much of your timeline. After all, no one enjoys having group shots taken. And whilst you might want a few family shots with elderly loved ones, the photos you’ll truly love in years to come will be the ones where you were lost in the moment, not posing for a photo.
I usually aim to deliver your photo gallery in around 3 - 6 weeks. I always offer a 'sneak peek' selection of your photos within 48 hours for you to share with family & friends.
If you'd like your full gallery delivered sooner, you have an option to add my fast track gallery for an extra £250 to your package. This way you will have access to your wedding photographs within one week!
A prewedding photo shoot is a priceless experience for couples, providing a chance to feel at ease in front of the camera before the big day. Couples consistently rave about the positive impact, emphasising how it helps them experiment with various photography styles. This experimentation ensures a clear vision for capturing perfect moments on the wedding day. Beyond this, the images serve multiple purposes—from personalised wedding invitations to meaningful decor at your venue, telling the story of your love. In essence, a prewedding shoot enhances both your comfort with photography and the narrative of your journey as a couple, making it a wonderful addition to your wedding preparations.
Travel expenses anywhere within the UK included (excludes overnight hotel if needed).
Every wedding includes a consultation, professional coverage tailored to your day, a private online gallery, full ownership of your images, a sneak peek within 48 hours, and ongoing support — all with no hidden costs.
A second shooter means two photographers capturing your day from different angles and locations. For example, one can photograph the bride while the other captures the groom getting ready, or we can capture both of your reactions as you walk down the aisle. It also allows for more candid shots of your guests and more overall images of your day. We sync our cameras to the exact same time, so your gallery flows beautifully and chronologically, telling your story seamlessly from start to finish.
*Highly recommended for weddings with 80+ guests
During a wedding I get snap happy and usually take as many photos as I can to document all the of the pinnacle moments of your day. For a full day of coverage you can usually expect around 800+ images in your final gallery.
Yes please! (It's also in my contract!) - I’ll be with you all day from getting ready in the morning until a few songs after the first dance. This is usually a very high-energy day, and is a long time to survive without any food. And besides, you don’t want me disappearing to my car for a packed lunch for half an hour or so, in case this causes me to miss something! It doesn't have to be anything fancy or the full wedding breakfast shebang, a simple main meal is more than sufficient, and most venues offer ‘supplier meals’. This also extends to the second photographer if you have booked one.
I believe in preserving the genuine magic of your moments without relying on filters or excessive editing. I am open to editing in different styles to adapt to the aesthetic of your day for example, if you'd like to make your colours pop or if you prefer a more cinematic touch - I'm here for it!
I understand that every couple is unique, and each wedding is special in its own way. Therefore, I encourage you to reach out to me if you'd like to create a customised package that perfectly suits your needs and preferences.
I am happy to offer flexible rates specifically tailored for shorter and smaller wedding ceremonies. My goal is to ensure that you get the best possible experience, regardless of the size or scope of your celebration. Feel free to get in touch with me, and we'll work together to craft a personalised package that captures the essence of your special day.
Yes, I carry a public liability insurance certificate and am happy to provide it to you if needed.
I also always carry back up cameras, batteries and lenses wherever I go!
Every venue is unique, and while I’ve been lucky to photograph many beautiful spaces, the truth is I don’t need prior experience at a venue to create stunning photos. On days when it’s a new venue, I usually arrive a little earlier to meet the staff, explore the best spots, and let my creativity flow — so by the time your day begins, I know exactly how to capture it beautifully.
Bad weather is very rare all day long, and I always keep an eye on the hourly forecast so we can find the best windows to get outside for photos. If we need to stay indoors, I bring professional lighting to create beautiful, natural portraits anywhere — so rain or shine, your photos will still be stunning.
Don’t worry, most couples feel nervous about having their photos taken (even me!) I guide you gently with simple prompts and movement, keeping things relaxed and natural. Most of the time, it feels more like a conversation or a walk than a photoshoot, and by the end, couples often tell me it was one of the most fun parts of their day.
Yes, I’m part of a wonderful group of trusted photographers who support each other in emergencies. Anyone I work with is carefully vetted and experienced, and all backup arrangements are outlined clearly in your contract when you book with me.
I recommend getting in touch as soon as you’ve set your date — popular weekends do book up quickly! Once we’re booked, your date is secured, and we can start planning how to capture your day perfectly.
Every wedding is different, which is why I offer flexible coverage. Most couples choose a full day to capture everything from the morning preparations to the evening celebrations, but we can tailor it to your schedule so you get all the moments that matter most.
Absolutely! I love working with couples who have a few must-have images in mind. I combine your list with my creative approach to make sure the day is captured naturally, without it feeling like a posed photoshoot.
Yes! I offer beautiful albums and a range of high-quality prints to showcase your wedding images. With my full-day packages, I also include a complimentary walnut wood USB box, personally engraved, with a selection of prints. Everything is designed to last a lifetime and keep your memories close at hand.
