An Intimate Warwickshire Wedding at Burton Dassett Hills & The Lost Pug

There's something so lovely about a smaller, more intimate wedding. No elaborate plans or packed schedules, just two people getting married, surrounded by the people who mean the most to them.

I recently had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful little wedding in the Warwickshire countryside, beginning with a traditional church ceremony in Burton Dassett, followed by some relaxed couple portraits on the hills and an intimate wedding dinner at The Lost Pug.

A Beautiful Church Wedding in Burton Dassett

The couple chose to exchange their vows at their local church in Burton Dassett, a beautiful setting nestled amongst the rolling Warwickshire countryside.

I always love photographing church weddings. There's something so timeless about the traditions, the anticipation before the ceremony and, of course, that wonderful moment when the couple walk back down the aisle as newlyweds!

Following the ceremony, we headed outside for some photographs before making the most of the gorgeous countryside just a stone's throw away.

Wedding Portraits at Burton Dassett Hills

If you've ever visited Burton Dassett Hills, you'll know just how beautiful the views are. With sweeping countryside and plenty of open space, it's such a lovely setting for natural, relaxed wedding photographs.

We spent a little time wandering across the hills, capturing some beautiful portraits of the newlyweds and giving them a moment to enjoy being married before heading off to celebrate. Nothing too posed or complicated, just a little gentle guidance and plenty of lovely, natural moments.

An Intimate Wedding Dinner at The Lost Pug

Afterwards, the celebrations continued at The Lost Pug, a charming countryside pub in the nearby village. I absolutely love the idea of celebrating a wedding somewhere cosy and familiar, enjoying good food and spending quality time with your favourite people.
